Dior Unveils Men’s Fall/Winter 2019-2020 Collection

Always in line with the New Look Christian Dior designed in 1947, Dior keeps demonstrating its unique perspective on fashion and the world. And for the house’s men Fall/Winter 2019-2020 collection, Kim Jones found inspiration in the couturier’s willingness to cross borders and explore new places such as the American continent.

The show took place in Miami, Florida and witnessed the appearance of many staples that stay true to the house’s heritage. Embroidery, beading and tailoring know-how mingled with psychedelic elements, forming an aesthetical style that is the fruit of many influences. Yes, this season, the Dior Man will wear fluid jackets made of tropical wool featuring hand-stitched buttons that remind us of the original Bar suit. His accessories collection will include the new limited-edition metal version Saddle bag, French berrets and Bob hats – like those worn by sailors – designed by Stephen Jones and embellished with flowers.

Floral motifs, python prints, checks and stripes enrich the collection with an unexpectedly harmonious touch, especially when combined with the signature Dior oblique motif. American style comes together with the quintessential French identity and lively colors to form a joyful and light collection that redefines elegance in its very special way.

While this collection is a delight for men, the Dior woman also deserves some pampering with the house’s Fall/Winter 2019-2020 ready-to-wear collection!
