The digital experience initiative aims to create virtual Lunar New Year envelopes dedicated to friends and family, hence an online quest that brings users together from all over the world. For those of you who didn’t know, this is not the first time the two brands collaborate. The first partnership between Burberry and WeChat was in February 2014, when followers took part in a social event experience during Burberry’s womenswear show in London and then carried on with a platform-exclusive experience for the luxury brand’s event in Shanghai in April 2014.
