Sleeping Beauty

What if I told you that a small change in your nighttime routine can not only help you sleep better, but also help your hair and skin. The main reason we get chapped lips, dry skin, hair and nails is lack of moisture in the air. Dry skin also causes wrinkles, and chances are if I gave you an easy way to prevent that, you will be all for it. Yes, moisturizing and drinking plenty of water is a must, but if you are sleeping in a dry room, how can your body stay hydrated for 8 hours? Invest in a humidifier. There are several kinds of humidifiers ranging in price. A simple one will do, but try to place it somewhere higher in the room (like a dresser) to make sure you get the full benefits. Also, one that rotates gives you better results than the one that just blows out air in one direction.

I recently purchased a humidifier and I sleep so much better. Not only has it improved my breathing, I no longer get nose bleeds, my lips aren’t chapped and even my hair looks better.

You know that morning glow you had in your teens? Research shows that sleeping with a humidifier can reduce the appearance of wrinkles. You may think that breakouts are caused only by oily skin, but dry irritated skin can cause them too. A humidifier can even prevent breakouts.

I really don’t see any reason why you shouldn’t use a humidifier immediately. I thought about doing this for a while, but now that I got around to it, I wish I had done this a long time ago.

I use regular tap water for now but for even better results try using purified or distilled water. Bonne Nuit!
