Best and Worst Eye Makeup Removers

It seems like no matter how well I wash my face, I still have some mascara left over. I always like to go over the area with an eye makeup remover so I go to sleep with no makeup on. I admit though, sometimes when I shower in the morning, I see some mascara that I need to clean up. I have sensitive skin and wear contacts and at the same time I love wearing loads of mascara and eye makeup in general. So I have tried so many eye makeup removers over the years and here are some of my picks:

Lancôme Bi-Facil Double Action Eye Makeup Remover, is a no brainer and gets the job done. But for less than half its price, you can get the Neutrogena Oil-Free Eye Makeup Remover.
That said, I also sometimes use the pre-soaked pads like the Almay Gentle Oil-Free Eye Makeup Remover Pads which are great for travel because you don’t have to worry about remembering cotton pads.Another option is Micellar water which I feel works just as well as the other liquid options. The main thing to remember is to be gentle and to not rub. What I do is place the pad on my eye and count to ten before wiping off the makeup. This way, the makeup is melted off before I start wiping. Just remember, your eye area is gentle so find something that doesn’t burn your eyes but actually feels nice to use at the end of the day.
