Tips on How to Treat a Sunburn

We all want that beautiful tan but sometimes we want it so bad that it ends up making us look worse. We all know that we have to use SPF daily and especially on vacation or at the beach but whether we forget to reapply or were hoping to get bronzed, you glance in the mirror and see that you are not exactly the shade you were hoping for but instead red and burnt. It's too late for sunscreen now and the damage is done. First, you take a painful shower and sometimes it's so bad you can't even sleep. Hopefully you will not want to repeat such an episode but in the meantime let’s make sure to get your skin back to normal as soon as possible.                                                                

1. Take a cold bath or shower to remove the heat from your skin

2. Apply Aloe Vera to help soothe the skin

3. Drink Plenty of Water

4. Wear lose clothes so it's more comfortable

5. Make a yogurt and honey mask for your face or body, leave this on until it dries and then wash off with cold water

Relax, this will only last a few days but in the meantime stay out of the sun!
