Prepare For Your Wedding… Sanely!

When prepping for your wedding, the thought of taking care of every single little detail is extremely overwhelming, and sometimes, it might even drive you insane. From flowers to lighting, the wedding dress, the setup, hair, makeup, and everything “bridesmaids”, your tasks might get out of hand, which will make you go nuts and ruin this joyous time in your life.

Therefore, it is important to find ways to relax and keep yourself sane while handling your wedding preparations, and here’s how!

1 – Keep the tasks that you can handle for yourself, and designate the rest to the people you trust – whether they’re your relatives or friends. You can thank them later by returning the favor!

2 – Meditation is also a great way to relax amidst the chaos. It will actually clear your head of worries, so dedicating a few minutes a day or at night before you sleep to this exercise will pay off on your big day.

3 – Consider using softening scents, such as lavender, jasmine, chamomile and basil. Dab some of their essential oil on your wrist to change your mood, or light up a scented candle in your room.

4 – Don’t let go of your workout routine before your wedding day because exercise has positive emotional and psychological effects. It will produce endorphins to lift your spirits and rid you of the stress.

5 – Keep in mind that as strong as you may be, you will need help. So, don’t be afraid to ask your friends and family for help.

6 – Treat yourself to a massage, a facial or even a manicure and pedicure, as pampering yourself can do wonders for your stress levels. Think of these treatments as necessities, because they keep you well-balanced and on the top of your wedding game!
