How to Hide Fine Lines around your Eye

With the right concealer we can hydrate the lines while hiding them. When the skin is dry, it’s more likely to show lines. Using a cream day and night is a must, but other than that we can hide these imperfections in just a few steps.

Marc Jacobs Beauty Remedy Concealer Pen is the perfect choice for brightening the eye area because it hydrates and is anti aging as well. Some concealers actually can make these lines look worse. Ones that are longwearing or dry matte can really crease up and make your eye area look worse. Also, stay away from powder under the eyes. Powder may work for a 21 year old girl on Youtube who is setting her under eye make up, but sorry ladies this trend is not for us. Of course this all depends on your skin type and needs, but personally when I tried this all I saw was highlighted lines. Think moisture and coverage, what works for your friend might not work for you. Test out a few concealers and see what works best for you.

Once you have found the right match, application is key. You can use your ring finger to apply it or even a brush, but if you want the best results, get yourself a Beauty Blender. This magical little sponge just gives you this incredibly flawless coverage. I admit it can soak up your product quickly, so make sure you wet it before putting it to use. The Micro Mini Beauty Blender is perfect for this area, but even the sharp end of a regular size one works fine too.

Whether you are using your finger or a sponge, always dab and don’t swipe. Remember your eye area is very delicate and the last thing you want to do is damage it. Start with the inner corners of your eye and go all the way to the outside corner. It might look a little wet at first, but give it a moment to soak in. If you feel like you need more, add another layer for extra coverage but don’t go overboard since it will end up creasing.
