Emilio Pucci Fall/Winter 2017-2018 Collection

Emilio Pucci was always pegged as the mighty Prince of Prints and today, Massimo Giorgetti reflected this heritage in his own special twist, experiencing the joys of neon colors. In fact, he was rooting for a very colorful fall, as the show kicked off with models sashaying down the runway in bright and jolly colors, from zesty greens to fluorescent yellow tones and fuchsia hues. But there was something very particular- albeit glamorous- about the collection.

Perhaps it was the loose garments? Or maybe the extra long sleeves? Either way, the fringes instilled in each and every outfit were to-die-for. Giorgetti even went as far as adding fringes to a hat, hiding the models’ faces completely. There were the occasional metallic numbers, paired ever-so elegantly with neon shoes, while draped dresses displayed the iconic paisley pattern. The striking geometric patterns suddenly turned into animalistic prints, unveiling a gorgeous Zebra-printed one-shouldered dress. The crowd was definitely sold!
