Elisabetta Franchi Fall/Winter 2018-2019 Ready-to-wear

She’s a woman who can put on quite a show and she wasn’t about to change thatthis time around either. So ittotally made sense to send out a slew of models in lamé blouses with powerepaulettes and plunging necklines, matched with elegant midi skirts and higher-than-thou platforms.

The theme was obvious: wear colorful tights and have fun pairing them with contrasting clothes. And so, we spotted models donning mustardy skirts with red tights, brown pieces with pink tights and the crowning touch, mismatched tights. Along came the tweed skirts with colorful fringes to spruce up the collection, and a series of fabulous palazzo pants to give it that sophisticated tune. The dresses had plunging necklines and form-fitting cuts - true to Franchi’s lingo.

Everything screamed class and femininity, but perhaps our favorite part of the show was the very last moment, which casually announced to show-goers that the brand has gone fur-free as well.
