Remember hearing jokes about coloring your hair blue while you were growing up? Well these days it’s not a joke, and one of the hottest trends in Hollywood. This blue, grey or pink dip dye hair does look most flattering on blonde hair but you can still try it on your highlights or even brunette hair. The thought of going blue scares you? Me too! That’s why I found a fun way to try this trend, and it goes away with just one wash. 

Your first guess might be a spray on color but it’s not, it’s eyeshadow. Using a highly pigmented blue or whatever color you choose, you can “color” your hair until your next wash. Make sure you wear gloves because this can get pretty messy. I love how this looks on beach waves, so curl your hair before you start. Rub your fingertips into the shadow or place the shadow pan directly onto your hair. Focus on the bottoms for that ombre look. Go over it a few times until you get the desired shade. Don’t worry if it’s too bright, you will comb it through later and most of it will fall out. Remember to do both the outside and inside for each section of your hair. I also recommend wearing a robe or an old T- Shirt, so you don’t mess up your outfit.

Comb it out for a pretty ombre, and scare your mom by telling her it’s permanent!
