Winter is around the corner and with the recent Halloween celebrations we still haven't had enough of all things dark! This time of year is perfect for a dark lip, a timeless look and one of my favorites!

Pulling the look off is not that simple though as there are a few rules which we must not break! 

First, choose a vampy lip shade that works well with your skin tone. Black has made a comeback! Glossy or Matte both work depending on your texture of choice. 

Keep eye makeup slick yet simple. This look is all about statement lips so keep your eyes subtle. A thin flick of liner and some mascara will do!

Skin as always, should be kept natural and healthy. A good foundation of your choice, well blended with a bit of glow works best for this look, and most looks in general! 

Be sure to pair a good lip liner with your lipstick. I like to apply the lipstick with a brush, first starting from the inside and working my way out. Once done, I start to line the lips with a good lip pencil / liner. Then once more, finish with more Lipstick application for a perfect finish!
