Beauty Tip of The Week – False Lashes

There is nothing quite as dramatic as False Lashes. The fact is, even models in mascara ads are wearing them because no mascara can really achieve that level of drama; however, the application of false lashes can be rather intimidating for many, so lets simplify it since false lashes are simply a matter of trial and error.

Texture: Lashes are offered in both human hair, and synthetic. Both deliver beautiful results and in many cases, the synthetic option are just as beautiful.

Eye Size: Choose a set of lashes that fit well with your eye size. A smaller lash line might require you to trim down the false lashes with your scissors

Choosing your glue: Lash glue comes in black, white or clear. The best option here is the white or clear as both will finish off as invisible. Duo adhesive is an eye lash glue trusted and used by many big brands.

Application: Once you have completed your make up, test what the eye lash looks like on your lid first to be sure of size and effect.

Follow with applying a thin layer of adhesive on the line of the false lash. Then apply the lash directly on your lash line. I sometimes like to use a tweezer as it allows me to have a precise application while pressing the lash on as it sets.

Finish off with a coat of mascara on your natural lashes so they blend in with the false lash and VOILA!

Also, your false lashes can be used several times depending on how well you take care of them. As long as you always remove the lashes once you are done for the day, you're good!
