Time to get your lips summer ready! Bright popping colors are making noise in 2017, and this time matte is in and it will definitely take your lips from simple to stunning!

Matte is tricky and less forgiving than glossy or creamy formulas, so here are a few steps to make your application easy.

Step 1- Exfoliate your lips. This is important. You can use a lip scrub or better yet, you can use a tooth brush to gently buff your lips.

Step 2- Pick the right shade for you. Very soon you will notice banging bright colors popping up on most makeup counters. Orange, Neon Pink, Fuschia to name a few, and wait for it....even blue! So, choose wisely.

Step 3- Dab on some lipstick directly onto your lips, then follow with a lip brush to fill in the corners and the rest of the lip. This will perfect your application. 

Step 4- Apply a tiny bit of highlighter on your Cupid's bow. This is my favorite tip for perfect lipstick application as a little bit goes a long way! 

Step 5- Always have some lip balm on hand, just to avoid dryness throughout the day.
