We Have a Thing for Hair Masks!

We all know how dedicated you are to your beauty routine. Whether it’s your face, body, nails, skin, hair, you have so much to take care of. And when it comes to your hair, you might think that constantly going to the hairdresser is enough to take care of it, but what you might forget is that you should make sure to provide it with some care at home as well. Consider this a small reminder to pamper your hair with a mask that will make it as healthy as possible.

To get the most out of your hair mask, wash your hair and towel dry it before applying the product. However, if you’re using a mask made of oil, it’s best to apply it on dry hair as water repels oil and your wet hair won’t absorb the ingredients as it should. Applying the product on long hair calls for dividing the latter into sections. And for the application process, you can use either your fingers or a hair-dye brush. When you’re done with the application, cover your hair with a shower cap then wrap a towel over it to add some heat and help your hair to better absorb the ingredients. When the time indicated on the packaging is up, rinse with lukewarm or cold water and avoid hot water to help your hair retain the moisture.
