A magical romance was filling up the air at Valentino’s Spring-Summer 2020 runway show, and it was as enchanting as one would have expected it to be. The show kicked off with women in white strutting their good looks down the runway, as they wore billowing poplin dresses, flowy silhouettes, white rope belts and a whole lot of feathers. There was something about the collection that had a certain unabashed elegance to it. Perhaps it was the gold dangling earrings, or perhaps it was the variety of strappy sandals. Whatever it was, everyone was sold. More colorful pieces made their way onto the runway, such as as a loose red dress, a ruffled long-sleeved gown, voluminous mini-dresses bearing the ever so iconic Red Valentino color, and a hoard of grass green pieces. Floral numbers were by the dozen and so were feathered mini-dresses that gave the collection the glitz and glam it needed. Leather shorts, knife-pleated skirts, sequined pieces and floral embroidered gowns will definitely be high on top of our must-have list next summer!
