It’s Couture Baby…and indeed it was! For Fall/Winter 2020, Lebanese designer Rabih Kayrouz brought his finest creations to life in a series of colorful pieces and well, a marvelous color palette!
His collection consisted of a creative mélange of fait/défait shards, as if they were still being put into pieces but looking as fabulous as ever. Patterns being made into wondrous creations, color palettes rediscovered and transformed into elegant ensembles and bold colors proving their powerful statement with a big fashionable bang. Could anyone want more?
And so, the designer’s moniker shapeless tunics come alive in a series of bold and charming colors, from bright pinks to reds and tones of blue. Granted, there were many structured and loose pantsuits – all of which were screaming “blazé” in the best way ever. But perhaps our favorite part was the way the fashion show was set – elegant clothes with red socks to complete the look. Now that’s creativity.
