Magnet Lash: First Impressions

Like most women, applying false lashes on myself is a challenge. First of all, it’s tough finding a lash that fits your eye shape. Next, there’s the exact placement, so your eyes don’t look droopy. There’s also the fear that the glue will dry up, and you’re at a party while the person you’re talking to says “your eyelash is falling off.”

When I first saw the magnet lash, I thought wow! genius. No need for glue and they will stay on forever. Just like most things that are too good to be true, it ended up being a total fail. Granted I only gave it one shot; perhaps with some practice I would have better results. Who knows!

So what is the magnet lash?  It's two strips of lashes that have a magnetic strip where you would normally apply the adhesive. The tricky part is that the upper lash goes on top of your lashes and the lower one beneath. So basically, making a sandwich of your natural lashes. Great idea! But the problem is getting the magnet to stay apart while getting really close to the lashes. I really wanted this to work but unfortunately, I don’t have the patience to practice. If you think you can do it, get yourself a pair and try it out!
