After 11 years of absence, Giorgio Armani finally warmed our hearts with a return to Dubai and a celebration we’ll definitely never forget. For the 10th anniversary of the opening of the Armani hotels in Milan and Dubai, the House held a One Night Only act in conjunction with Expo 2020. This event that took place at the Armani Hotel Pavilion combines between the world of Armani and the most important cities in the world. It started off with the Giorgio Armani Men's and Women's Spring-Summer 2022 runway show and a selection of Armani Privé Haute Couture looks from the Fall/Winter 2021-2022 Shine collection and ended up with a bunch of memories we’ll forever cherish.
What’s even more exciting is that we get to accompany Linda Cantello, Giorgio Armani’s international make-up artist, in the backstage where she will take us step by step towards a makeup look that ticks all the Armani codes:
First, she moisturized the face with the LUMINOUS SILK HYDRATING PRIMER accompanied with a light application of the LUMINOUS SILK FOUNDATION which shade matches the neck. Secondly, she defined the eyes with a soft green thick liner using a mix of EYE TINT in shade #37 ‘Scarab’ and #24 ‘Nude Smoke’, then she set them with some MICRO-FIL LOOSE POWDER after being well blended. As for the eyebrows, she filled them with the appropriate shade of EYE-PRECISION BROW PENCIL as straight as possible. Then for the brow bone only, she applied some NEO NUDE A-HIGHLIGHT in shade #11 and extended it out to the end of the eyebrow. For a final touch for the eyes, she curled the lashes and two to three coats of EYES TO KILL CLASSICO mascara were applied. Now, to finish off she applied LIP POWER in shade #106 ‘Forte’ high on the cheekbones and the lips for models with Caucasian skins and LIP POWER in shade #602 ‘Attitude’ for those with a darker one.
