Chloé Spring-Summer 2019 Collection

Natacha Ramsay Levi’s take on Chloé for Spring-Summer 2018 was a breath of fresh air. The designer used multi-layered looks to create sharp silhouettes, ones bathed in a beautiful mélange of patterns and prints. That said, patterned flared trousers were pared with matching cropped tops and oversized blazers, and dresses – mini or midi – were cinched at the waist with rope belts.

It seemed as though the creations were a nod to lavish tapestry, as some of the designs featured tassels and symmetrical motifs. But there was also a more modernistic approach to the Chloé lingo, as graphic tees that featured the House’s insignia were beautifully matched with high-wasted skirts and shorts. Seventies vibes were mixed with minimalistic ones, as flou tunics and loose pants were obviously a thing.
