Chloe Fall/Winter 2020-2021 Ready-to-Wear

It’s in the Grand Palais, amidst a whirlpool of sculptures executed by Marion Verboom that Parisian-born designer Natacha Ramsay-Levi unveiled Chloé’s Fall/Winter 2020-2021 collection. For the past few seasons, the talented designer had previously showcased a lot of palpable charm in the “bohemian” department, lending the French maison an image like no other. This time around, she dedicated her collection to an effortless romance, one that is found in soft fabrics and patterned garments…for the cold season.

Indeed, she devoted a fair bit of attention to feminine cinched waists, as Kaia Gerber opened the show in a high-slit checkered shirt dress with earthy colors and a waist belt. The other models followed suit in seventies-styled collared shirts and wide-legged pants at times, cinched blazers at other times, and the show closed with denim jeans and leather jackets as a final touch. It was all very reminiscent of the seventies, but also topped off with a touch of modernity – basically what Chloé is all about.
