Were you as infatuated as we were by CHANEL’s Cruise 2018-2019 collection presented in Paris in May? If so, then rejoice! The French Maison has made an outstanding replica of its show, but this time around, in beautiful Bangkok, where guests gathered at the prestigious Mandarin Oriental Hotel to witness the second iteration of the collection.

The result was a joyful collection unveiled aboard the land-locked deck of the cruise ship La Pausa, where light fabrics and fluid silhouettes exploded in a fury of candy-colored palette. Cottons, silks and the House’s staple tweeds were all present, as a nod to CHANEL’s timeless elegance.

Passengers among the whimsical ship included CHANEL ambassadors Lily-Rose Depp, Tilda Swinton, Caroline de Maigret, Soo Joo Park, Pharrell Williams and Gaspard Ulliel – all of whom boarded traditional Thai boats to traverse Bangkok’s Chao Phraya River alongside Hong Kong actress Angela Yuen and Taiwanese singer 9M88. Guests danced the night away aboard the ship, with local acts from Thaitanium featuring Srei, DJ Soo Joo Park and Pharrell Williams lighting up Bangkok’s beautiful sky.
