Burberry Spring-Summer 2019 Collection

Is Kendall Jenner back on the runway? For Burberry, she definitely is! Indeed, for Spring-Summer 2019, Riccardo Tisci revisited the House’s archives to create a little something he called “Kingdom”. And so, the collection featured the house’s moniker trench-coats, but this time around, cinched at the waist with wide thick belts. There were leather pencil skirts paired with delicate blouses, tailored trousers that recalled the forties, and silky blouses that featured the House’s print inspired by old archives.

Pussy blouses were obviously a thing, along with polka dotted plisse skirts and three-piece suits. Belt bags were graciously hanging from the models’ waists, bringing a little twist to the collection’s calmness. Hints of scarves were incrusted in the garments, from the trench-coats to the trousers and the blazers. One crocodile camel coat was beautifully paired with matching trousers, proving Tisci’s ability to impeccably layer. And with a color palette swaying within the norms of pasty camel colors, who wouldn’t want a little taste of this Burberry heaven?
