A Look at Chopard’s Gem Garden

Nature is once again the number one source of inspiration, and this time we’re talking about the jewelry world. We’re talking about Chopard’s “Exceptional Gemstones”, a first in the House’s history, and it’s all about gems, especially rare ones, and their vibrant colors. From unheated sapphire and pear-shaped pigeon's blood ruby, to a series of Colombian emeralds and diamonds, the versatility is just amazing as some fine stones were also used like Paraiba tourmaline and black cabochon-cut opal stone.

What makes this collection even more special is that not only the white diamonds we know were used. Caroline Scheufele searched the four corners of the world and managed to find a colored diamond. The latter is rarely found – only 1 out of 10 000 diamonds are considered colored in nature – as it is a really special dark grey greenish yellow diamond. It’s called “chameleon” since its color changes when exposed to light and heat sources.

All of these beauties adorned different earrings, rings and other amazing marvels. Check some of them below.
