What Does the Color You’re Wearing Say about You?

There’s no denying the fact that what you wear says a lot about you. So imagine the effect that the color of your clothes has on people’s perception of you! Take a moment to close your eyes and picture yourself in your closet; what do you see? We bet you can spot one color that you obviously favor over the others – don’t feel bad if it’s black, we’re all in the same boat.

But what most people don’t know is that there’s more to it than meets the eye. Not only do colors reveal a lot about your personality type, but they also send a loud and clear message to the people surrounding you. And hey, if you’re looking for ways to uplift your mood, you can always change the color of your outfit.

Scroll below to see what your go-to clothing color says about you!

Blue

If you constantly find yourself swaying towards blue-ish hues, then odds are you’re a very peaceful and loyal person. As a color that represents calmness and control, people perceive you as an intelligent and successful person. Maybe you should stock up on blue outfits if you have an upcoming interview!

Red

The ever-so roaring red…a color that symbolizes power, passion and your thriving attitude. So if you’re looking for ways to make a statement, then keep on shining in this strong and daring tone!

Pink

Contrary to popular belief, pink is not only for Barbies and little girls. In fact, the color represents romance and feminism all-too perfectly. There’s no better way to channel your inner-sensuality then with a serious doze of pink.

Brown

So you’re into brown? That only means that you’re down to earth, stable and very grounded. All hail Mother Earth!

Purple

Not only is it the color of royalty, but it’s also a symbol of wealth and creativity. So yeah, basically, if you’re into purple, you’re conveying a very rich message, both on a material and spiritual level.

White

The recent surge in all-white outfits has surely affected our wardrobe-related choices. And so if you’re a white endorser, that only means that you like to lead a harmonious and peaceful life, giving way to new beginnings with nothing but courage in hand.

Black

Last but not least, the all-too elegant black; the color that represents power and luxury, but most importantly, the color that brings out the most mysterious and classic parts of your soul. And yes, as cliché as it may seem, we’ll all  stop wearing black when they invent a darker color.
