Vacheron Constantin’s Masculine Take on Astronomy and Watchmaking

True to this year’s theme of astronomy, Vacheron Constantin has also unveiled a timepiece for men during SIHH 2017 that invites them to gaze into the skies. Yes, we are talking about the Patrimony Moon Phase and Retrograde Date watch that have amazed us all.

This new addition to the Patrimony family brings together a minimalist design with the elegance of a moon phase and the rareness of a retrograde date indication, certified by the prestigious Hallmark of Geneva like any other Vacheron Constantin timepiece. Reflecting the watchmaking expertise of the house in the clearest of ways, this harmoniously proportioned watch ensures optimal user-friendliness by allowing the wearer to adjust all these functions via the crown.

A Manufacture Vacheron Constantin Caliber 2460 R31L supplied with a 40-hour power reserve beats at the heart of this timepiece available in two versions – one made of white gold and the other of pink gold. While the crown in its first position serves to wind the watch and controls time-setting in its third and last position, it can be turned clockwise when pulled out to the second notch in order to set the date or the other way around to adjust the moon phase.
