Turn your Kids’ Wardrobe into a Spring Haven

It sure is tiring to change your wardrobe every other season, let alone fix your kids’ closets, but it just seems like the right thing to do! Shifting from Fall pieces to Spring clothes can be quite a hassle; I mean come on, there are so many things you have to get rid of, that running away from your responsibilities might just seem like a good idea. But since that won’t do you any good, you might as well switch out winter coats to summer must-haves. So pace yourself, face the facts and start out with the basics:

  1. Since it’s renewal season, begin the cleaning spree by being entirely selective. If you and your child are not completely sure of a piece of clothing, then just put it away because it will just end up taking much needed space in their closet.
  2. Now, your next move should include taking out every piece of knitwear, heavy jackets and stockings. Replace them by lighter fabrics such as fluid dresses for your girls and linen shirts and chinos for your boys.
  3. Banish the existence of dark colors. You might feel okay wearing them in spring, but why make your kids look they’re members of the Adams Family? Go brighter and cooler!
  4. As for the shoes, bid farewell to boots and chunky materials. Replace them by loafers, espadrilles and brighty-bright sandals!
  5. But most importantly, hide the thick and fuzzy beanies and go for some brim hats and fedoras instead!

Let the spring season begin!
