Tips for One Fabulous Winter Wedding

While some brides prefer a summer wedding, others find that a winter wedding makes them feel more special. We can’t deny that there is something magical about this time of year that makes us feel cozy, but the task of preparing for the day that we have dreamt of since we were little girls might be a little bit harder.

Nevertheless, nothing is impossible in a woman’s dictionary, as no matter what, we always make sure to achieve our goal. With this in mind and before you start packing to reach your winter wedding destination, here are some tips that will help you avoid last-minute undesired issues and will guarantee that this day is as memorable as ever.

1 -  When planning for a winter wedding, don’t panic about the cold weather. No need to worry, as winter accessories can be found everywhere to help you through this day. Invest in a sophisticated fur stole or a chic cape for example.

2 – Opt for a long-sleeved wedding dress and make sure to stay warm, as you don’t want to be stuck drinking tea all night at your party!

3 – During winter, chapped lips and dry skin are inevitable, so keep them hydrated and have an effective lipstick in your clutch.

4 – If your wedding is taking place during the festive season, slightly glittery wedding gowns are always a good option and believe us, they look great in photos.

5 – Even if this day should be all about you, your bridesmaids need some care as well. Make sure to accompany their dresses with cover-ups to keep them warm.

6 – Since winter is known for its harsh weather, make sure to leave your hotel earlier in order to avoid traffic.

7 – Try to have your ceremony and reception in one venue, because this will make transport easier in case of bad weather.

8 – For table decoration, try to include candles because they add that cozy feel we all like about winter and a romantic touch like no other!

9 – As for the flowers, opt for rich and warm tones that reflect the winter spirit such as berry red, burgundy and gold.

10 – Since all your guests will be wearing coats, make sure you have a coat-check area set up for them.

These tips are really helpful as they give you peace of mind and get you out of your “the cold weather will ruin everything” panic mode. Set you creativity free and make this day more special than you ever imagined!
