The Beanie: The Do’s And Don’ts

Beanies are winter’s cutest accessories. They keep us warm, protect us when it’s harsh out, and they do it in style. And what’s really really awesome about these little fuzzy things is that they come in different fabrics, from fur to wool and cotton and – wait for it- you can grab one for wherever you may go or whatever you may do! How fabulous is that?

The only “downside” – if you may- is that wearing a beanie can be tricky business. Why? Simply because there’s a fine line between the “gangster look” and the “stylish look”. But you needn’t worry, as we’re going to help you stay cool. So without further ado, scroll down and check out our do’s and don’ts!

Do pick a beanie that screams ultra-warmth, all the while promising a fashionable and ultra-feminine look!

Don’t go full-on crazy with overzealous adding on your beanie- even if you have killer confidence! A beanie should be as classic as a little black dress.

But if you’re dead-on serious with the “accessorizing” mania, then we do suggest you go with a pom-pom beanie. A sure thing indeed!

Don’t pair your beanie with androgynous clothes. Always create a counterbalance throughout your outfit. Our advice? Go for an A-line skirt, a leather jacket and some cool stockings as you wear your beanie!

Do go for the slouchy attitude as you pull your beanie back so it rests atop your head.

Don’t pick a brimmed beanie. Just don’t.

Do pick a knitted beanie. Fuzzy, warm and incredibly stylish!

Unless you’re Beyonce, don’t pull the “Animal-ear” beanies. Leave these fashion faux-pas for Halloween, we beg of you!
