Piaget at SIHH 2019

Last year was a remarkable milestone for Piaget, as the Maison celebrated the 60th anniversary off its Altiplano watch at the Salon de la Haute Horlogerie Internationale. This year however, was more spectacular than ever for the Swiss luxury watchmaker, as the novelties unveiled at the fair were three timepieces containing pieces of meteorites. You read right.

The Maison was previously known and acknowledged for its skinny watches, as they’ve attracted the most attention ever since their creation. And so, the Altiplano Metorite Flying Tourbillon features a dial made out of a meteorite and tinted into a rich blue color. What’s more, the exceptional timepiece is produced into a limited number of 28 pieces and is enriched with a circle of diamonds surrounding its bezel. Need we say more? The watch itself represents the ultimate perfection and Piaget’s most noticeable endeavor in the world of gem-setting. Another exquisite timepiece is the Piaget Possession Cuff watch, made for the elegant and confident woman out there. Celebrating the free-spirited woman, the Maison presented a new cuff of hand-worked gold paired with an iconic mother-of-pearl dial that perfectly flows with the textured mesh. The case and the rotating bezel are fully set with diamonds making the cuff woman’s ultimate must-have.
