Osheq DXB Presents Limited Editions Wearable Artworks

The artsy scene is well-alive and kicking, as Fullmoon Experiments launches Osheq.com, an Art Collective and Fashion Studio partnering-up with Middle Eastern artists to transform their work into limited edition wearable marvels. It was all part of a private launch in Harper’s Bazaar Café in Dubai Design District, gathering a slew of High profile cultural personalities, media figures, local and regional artists, collectors and art & Fashion connoisseurs.

Indeed, Middle-Eastern painters, illustrators and photographers’ Arabian-infused artworks were translated into a Limited Edition silk scarves collection, worthy of the theme at hand. The scarves themselves are all autographed by the artists and are accompanied by an original signed, stamped and numbered certificate of authenticity.

Osheq, which happens to be the first venture by “Fullmoon Experiments”, thrives on social conscience and the conviction that Art and Knowledge can change the world. By the same token, with each wearable artwork sold, a book to literacy & education non-profit organizations is donated as well.

Hasan Fadlallah, the Co-founder and Strategy Director of Fullmoon Experiments said: “Fullmoon Experiments overarching strategy is inspired by Sheikh Mohammad bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice-President, Prime Minister and the Ruler of Dubai’s vision to improve the Arab world through empowering communities, spreading knowledge and nurturing entrepreneurship and innovation for the future. Therefore, our first venture, ‘Osheq’ is in-line with these guidelines in terms of how a brand can inspire the world by merging Art, Fashion and a higher purpose”

Mohamad Badr, also Co-Founder of Fullmoon Experiments stated: “ Osheq was not conceptualized to be a fashion studio only, it was born to address social issues, this is a brand that transcends the commercial aspect and reflects the true essence of Middle Eastern Artists, it’s a platform to democratize art and a channel to talk about our cities and our cultural stories.”

Who said Art x Fashion x Purpose couldn’t make the world a better place?
