My Jewelry Obsession – The Back Necklace Trend

The backlace – or the back necklace – has recently reached new levels in the fashion industry. This trend was once mastered by Princess Diana in 1985 and has now made a huge comeback. From Anne Hathaway to Cara Delevingne, Jennifer Lawrence and Cate Blanchett, most of the red-carpet starlets who have mastered this trend so glamorously, have left us with absolute and utter envy. Wondering how you too can pull it off? Here are some guidelines…

1 – Slip dresses rarely come embroidered and that usually leaves room for you to add some action to your look. In this case, a back necklace is your way to go in order to add a sparkly touch.

2 – If you were wearing a strapless gown, a long delicate beaded strand is the unexpected detail needed to glam up your classic look and show off your style.

3 – No matter how sophisticated your look is, it can always take a rock-and-roll turn. How? Accompany your sophisticated low-back dress with an edgy necklace worn backwards!

4 – Even short necklaces can be worn backwards and all you have to do in this case is choose one with a larger pendant in order to adorn your back when wearing a slightly-back-revealing dress.

5 – Open-back gowns or tops can never fail in giving us the opportunity to master the backlace trend. It’s one of the perfect ways to wear our glamorous tassel sautoir backwards.

With these five tips, you’ll easily become the fashionable starlet of your own red carpet!
