Most Fashionable Disney Characters

While childhood often makes kids cringe in terms of fashion (especially when they see photographic evidence), the cartoons they watch aren’t to be blamed. It takes them a while to figure this out but they believe Disney might’ve been a bit of a trendsetter.

Here are 5 stylish Disney characters that deserve to be fashion icons.

Cruella De Vil – 101 Dalmatians

She may be evil, but she looks fabulous. Her elegant black dress–covered with an oversized fur jacket and accessorized with long red leather gloves– is simply divine. The red interior of her coat is also a nice touch, which may or may not have inspired Christian Louboutin to paint his soles red. While her hairstyle might not appeal to everyone, it sure is groundbreaking.

Pinocchio – Pinocchio

Could this little fellow be the hipster’s precursor? With his blue bowtie, feathered hat, red shorts, yellow shirt and black waistcoat, Pinocchio is quite a stylish little boy. If only he didn’t lie so much…

Maleficent – Sleeping Beauty

This woman deserves a style award. Her dark horn hat adds a fierce touch to her elegant red lips and nails. And then there’s the dramatic black cape outlined in purple, which makes her look like a queen. Did we mention the black cocktail ring and golden stick? She’s an extravagant diva.

The Queen of Hearts – Alice in Wonderland

Not many women would dare wear color-blocked gowns but The Queen of Hearts is one of them. Her dress, which could’ve easily been designed by Sonia Rykiel, mixes black and red with yellow. Colors make her happy and she isn’t scared to make a statement.

Princess Jasmine –Aladdin

Her turquoise off-the-shoulder crop top alone is very avant-garde. Princess Jasmine knows how to dress appropriately. Her arms and stomach may be exposed but her loose pants ensure that her outfit isn’t vulgar. Her stoned headband and gold jewelry are also pretty fantastic. We particularly like her wavy hair held loose by two rubber bands– and her pet tiger, of course.
