Though you might typically think fanny packs have overstayed their welcome, designers beg to differ. With their functional and practical characteristics – being hands-free and what not – fanny packs, or what we like to call “belt bags”, are the perfect hero piece to spruce up any outfit you might don.

New iterations to this nineties staple have now turned it into a must-have accessory – thank you Gucci, Chanel and Zimmerman, amongst others – and the world’s biggest fashion influencers have adopted the trend as their own. Although the classic 90’s dad picture carrying a fanny pack is enough to make you roll your eyes at the trend, but the Spring 18 runways suggest that these newly-approved belt-bags may be the true fashion accessory leaders! And after all, what’s not to like? Hands-free? Roomy? Check! Versatile! Check, check and check!
