It’s Pool Time!

The weather is getting cooler as we are bidding farewell to the hottest days of the year. In such a breezy atmosphere, nothing beats going for a swim and enjoying the sun as our body soaks up all the Vitamin D it needs to stay healthy. However, sometimes, you’re just too tired or too lazy to leave your home, and you just want to chill and relax exactly where you are. Well, have you ever thought of providing your backyard with a pool and enjoying some privacy? If not, this is the right moment to start planning for this project and here are our tips to help organize the ideas in your head!

– Since privacy is what you are looking for, you should designate the most out of sight area of your outdoors for this project. After all, you don’t want your neighbors peeking in.

– Decide how big you want your pool to be by taking into consideration the space of your backyard.

– Pick the material you want to use to build the pool. From fiberglass to concrete, vinyl and tile, the choices and designs are endless!

– Would you like to install an aboveground or an in-ground pool? Here, it’s necessary to know that an aboveground pool requires the addition of a deck around it to highlight its beauty.

– Note that for deep swims, an aboveground pool is not convenient as its wall height is typically 52 to 54 inches.

– A pool requires accessories and a nice setting. While your house and the greenery that surrounds it are the perfect background for a pool, the latter also needs some lights, fencing, covers and of course, a few sun beds and beach umbrellas!

– Like any other part of your house, your pool will need regular maintenance such as skimming, vacuuming, brushing and cleaning filters.

– No matter what pool style you want to install, always take the advice of professionals as they know best! Also, make sure that all the changes you are about to make are in line with your town’s building regulations.
