How Should Your Makeup Be with Eyeglasses

If you wear eyeglasses, you probably think that your eyes get lost behind them but this is not true at all. In fact, not many of us know that eyeglasses bring attention to our face’s features and that’s why our makeup should always be on point! Also, don’t think that giving up your eyeglasses would be the solution; you should rather feel blessed with geek style becoming the new chic.

To avoid annoying makeup mishaps and look as glam as always, follow our simple tips!

1 – Avoid applying too much makeup on your nose, especially where the eyeglasses sit, in order to avoid smudging.

2 – Let go of your black liner and choose one that comes in sparkling navy or deep burgundy instead. Thanks to its warm hue, the deep burgundy makes everyone look good no matter the skin tone or hair color.

3 – Since your eyes will be magnified because of the glasses, you probably avoid wearing strong and very sparkling hues of eyeshadow for a night out with the girls. But, you can still look all glammed up by smudging a liner in a warm color such as deep plum and get that sultry look.

4 – Use an eyelash curler to keep your lashes from hitting the lenses of your glasses before you apply your mascara and focus on the roots.

5 – Go heavy on the mascara at the roots of your lashes and keep things light on their tips.

6 – Choose a waterproof mascara to keep it from flaking onto your lenses.

7 – Always apply concealer under your eyes to prevent them from looking sunken in.

8 – Even though the eyeglasses might hide your brows, it’s essential to shape them because they frame your face and complete your makeup look. When it comes to the color you should use, take into consideration the color of the eyeglasses’ frame, and stay away from dark hues if the latter is black or dark brown.
