Hermès Puts Craftsmanship and Jewelry Together in a Watch

When Hermès mixes between craftsmanship, femininity and jewelry, the watch that comes to mind is the one and only Faubourg Manchette Joaillerie. This exquisitely elegant timepiece saw the light in 2014, and in 2015, it became an all leather-clad cuff watch that honors the house’s expertise.

The artisans carve out the elements that are required to create a cuff strap from a piece of leather, and assemble them using the famous saddle-stitching technique, which guarantees a one-of-a-kind finish by making three double stitches at each end of the seam. After rubbing down the sharp edges, they press a furrow between the seam and the edge of the leather. They dye the strap’s contour, which is then heat-smoothed with a soldering iron and waterproofed with beeswax.

Adorned with 36 baguette-cut gemstones, the gold case fits in the leather strap that forms an extension to it and makes from this watch a second skin bursting with femininity when worn on the wrist. The black alligator strap comes with a case set with diamonds and the green alligator strap is supplied with a case set with emeralds, while a blue sapphire-set case accompanies the blue alligator strap and a brown sapphire-set case finds its place in a brown alligator strap.

With such beautiful combinations, a woman can never deny her femininity and will definitely embrace it every time she wears this Hermès marvel, which is available in all its versions in the Photo Gallery below.
