CHANEL’s Spring-Summer 2018 Handbag Campaign

For CHANEL’s Spring-Summer 2018 handbag campaign, Karl Lagerfeld has invited Cindy Crawford’s offspring Kaia Gerber into the elegant world of the House, and more specifically into Mademoiselle CHANEL’s apartment. And it’s at the heart of said apartment that CHANEL’s legacy blooms and where every piece of furniture tells a whimsical story. Indeed, Lagerfeld revitalizes Gabrielle CHANEL’s timeless soul by picturing model Kaia Gerber on the fawn suede sofa with quilted cushions, a sofa worth a million words.

Pieces that retain their integrity for centuries to come are seen shining in the midst of Mademoiselle CHANEL’s apartment, from the 11.12 bag, in richly embroidered tweed or playful in colored transparent PVC, to CHANEL’s elegant GABRIELLE handbag, the Boy CHANEL bag, a vanity case and a camera case in exotic leathers or charms.

The diversity in bags is noteworthy, but one would be remiss not to notice the bond linking them all together.

Below, a few shots of the mesmerizing campaign. The Photo Gallery, right this way…
