It’s in Capri’s beautiful Via Camerelle that Chanel has unveiled its new ephemeral boutique. Recalling the unique details of an Italian Palazzo, the boutique features antique patina on the inside and terracotta walls on the outside with strict geometric lines, making for a perfectly serene atmosphere.
The boutique combines cream stone and black granite lush terrace with a wooden arbor reminiscent of the House's iconic quilting, carefully embellished with ivy and lemon trees. The inside of the story reflects Chanel’s roots, unveiling cream and black stone flooring- as part of the House’s color palette- and hand-painted wall murals revealing the staple camellia, the lion, wheat and comets. And right at the heart of the boutique, the new Chanel Gabrielle bag, created by Karl Lagerfeld, shines on as a true testament to the House’s indisputable savoir-faire. A selection of pieces from the PARIS COSMOPOLITE 2016/17 Métiers d'art collection – from Ready-to-wear to bags, shoes and accessories – Is on display at the Capri boutique, making for an unforgettable shopping experience.
