The Dubai Mall’s Fashion Avenue has sure been witnessing a load of boutique openings, including Bottega Veneta’s new store, pegged as the largest in the region. Spanning over 5,845 square feet and taking over three floors, the boutique presents women’s and men’s products, from ready-to-wear to handbags, small leather goods, shoes, jewelry, luggage, fragrances and eyewear. The boutique will also feature a Customization Atelier, allowing clients to choose from an array of precious exotic skins and iconic styles to create an individualized bag.

Conceived by creative director Tomas Maier, the design of the store showcases metallic elements and warm neutral hues, creating a sophisticated sense of comfort and intimacy. The exterior facade is the star of the boutique, which boasts a surreal design embodying the iconic intrecciato weave. Indeed, the design is made of metal in the brand’s signature dark brown tone, whereby the top portion of the “weave” is constituted from diamond-shaped cuts of metal, while the bottom section features transparent diamond-shaped windows allowing a view into the store. This majestic innovation sees itself as the largest of its kind that the brand has created globally.

Stepping inside the boutique reveals a soaring space with marble display cubes made of Gris du Marais stone – chosen specifically for the store – and a glazed interior window which extends from the mezzanine over the first floor. As for the lighting of the boutique, it features a unique concept for the Dubai Mall location, where each room features a raised, illuminated ceiling, giving off a flattering light to heighten the shopping experience.

To celebrate the grand opening, Bottega Veneta will be unveiling a special collection exclusively available at The Dubai Mall boutique. For women, there will be handbags from the Knot family in rose gold and diamonds, as well as crocodile and ostrich handbags enriched with precious metals and stones. Four styles of women’s sandals in Caiman Metallic and a series of silk accessories will be available as well. For men, luxurious crocodile-and-nappa carriers that are ideal for travel will be made available, alongside slippers and sandals made of ostrich.
