“Inspiration that goes beyond expectations” is what Lexus’ philosophy is all about, as Intersect by Lexus has already made its way to the top and became a new destination for a modern and luxurious experience with an urban twist. Dubai’s cosmopolitans, entrepreneurs, businessmen, artists and fashionistas find in this uniquely designed place a hub that satisfies their cultural needs.

Internationally renowned interior designer and founder of Wonderwall firm, Masamichi Katayama is behind this décor that is modern and luxurious with an urban twist. He developed both the Tokyo and Dubai concepts. He visited Dubai for the launch of Intersect by Lexus that has seen a celebration of his minimalistic stunning designs, which are a blend of muted color palettes with industrial pieces, geometric shapes and sleek lines, representing the vibrancy of DIFC and the coolness of Intersect by Lexus.

The first level of the two-story space opens to an exceptional eatery and library surrounded by floor-to-ceiling windows delicately covered with bamboo. Inspired by the UAE’s sand dunes, the ceilings come in off-white to create endlessness to the space. In addition, a hidden projector screen finds its place within the sand dunes to make Intersect by Lexus an ideal destination for multiple art, design and culture events.

Keeping up with the same spirit, the lower level is as stunningly designed as the first level. This ultra-modern garage displays a Lexus concept car, while the floor is transparent and features Lexus car parts painted in luminescent, bright white that makes the floor glow. The wall is full of miniature toy cars, including various generations of Lexus cars.

“INTERSECT BY LEXUS is not just about creating a branding space, but rather an ‘environment.’  It is an environment of new concepts that spotlight the people and the phenomena surrounding the LEXUS brand,” explains Katayama.
