A Look at Chanel’s Mademoiselle Privé Exhibition in Seoul

The long-awaited Chanel Mademoiselle Privé exhibition opened its doors on June 21st 2017, inviting guests to revel in Chanel’s wondrous journey, from the origins of the House’s creation, to Karl Lagerfeld’s creative vision on the story of Mademoiselle Chanel.

Blooming at the heart of the D Museum in Seoul, the exhibition finds its footing in digital dynamism and Korean touches, revealing the brand’s creative processes and putting into sight Mademoiselle Chanel's most ground-breaking creations, starting with the Haute Couture reinvented by Karl Lagerfeld, continuing with CHANEL N°5 fragrance and finishing off with High Jewelryalongside the re-edition of the one and only collection 'Bijoux de Diamants' designed in 1932 by Gabrielle Chanel.

A series of international guests graced the opening event with their presence, such as Chanel ambassadors G-Dragon, Caroline de Maigret and the Japanese actress Rinko Kikuchi, as well as model Soo Joo Park and influencer Irene Kim; all of whom took part in the Mademoiselle Privé exhibition in Seoul. Attending the exhibition's opening at the D museum were Chanel ambassadors and actresses GweiLun Mei, Shin Hye Park and Ye Seul Han, the K-pop singer CL, singers Taeyang and Jennie, actresses Ryeowon Jung, Ah-Sung Ko and Yoon A Lim as well as actors Lee Je Hoon, Chang Wook Ji and JooHyuk Nam.

After completing the private viewing and attending the opening reception at the D museum, guests celebrated the opening at the S Factory in the midst of a specially designed setting, enjoying a live performance by G-Dragon and dancing to the beats of DJs such as Soo Joo Park, Kingmck and Plastic Kid.
