Your Guide to Staying Productive at Work during Ramadan

Fasting is not easy, especially when the weather is hot. You go to work during the day and stay up late at night to have Suhoor, then get up early in order to head to the office again. As exhausting as this may sound, there is a way to make the task a whole lot easier. Boost your spirit and check out our tips!

1 – Avoid talking about food, as concentrating on food will leave you exhausted. Think of work as a way to kill time until Iftar. After all, it’s all about positive thinking!

2 – Do not try to take a nap at the office when you feel tired. A quick workout is much better in giving you the energy you need to get through your day.

3 – Exercise, exercise and exercise. During Ramadan, exercising boosts your metabolism and your productivity by 50%, leaving you energetic until the next day.

4 – Avoid looking at the time regularly at the office, as counting the hours and minutes left until Iftar is exhausting and will leave you desperate.

5 – Since your morning is the most energetic time of your day, finish off the hard tasks first and leave the rest until the end of your working hours, because that’s probably when you’ll start to lose concentration.
