Winged Liner Challenge

Winged liner is one of those things like surfing. I know I want to learn how to do it one day, but every time I try, it seems so difficult and I just give up. With that said let’s try this again! I think the main problem for me is having hooded eyelids so even if I make a line with a ruler, it’s not going to look perfectly straight. If you have OCD, this is definitely an issue and the worst part is you also have to make it even with your other eye which is almost impossible. So for every challenge the best way to reduce anxiety is to start with the right tools.

TARTE Tarteist™ Clay Paint Liner comes with a brush and it stays on for 12 hours. First step is to hold your skin tight, but do so closer to the temple not next to your eye. You probably start at the inner corner but start at the outer corner instead. Make the angle really high to create a lifted effect. Almost like you are going backwards starting from the sharpest point of the wing. Then from the bottom outer corner of your eye make another line to create an outline of a wing. Use very little product for this, but then grab some more on your brush to color in the wing. Good luck!
