Water: Quench Your Body’s Thirst!

Why should you drink water you ask? Well, the answer is super simple; whatever nature provides is great for our bodies and water is the most important fluid that nature offers us.

Did you know that the average adult male body is composed of about 60% water and females 55%? That’s why it’s very important to stay hydrated! Always remember your body is like a garden, if you don’t water it, don’t expect it to blossom.

What are the benefits of staying hydrated?

- Boosts your energy

- Fights infections

- Gets rid of body toxins

When is the best time to drink water?

You should begin with a glass as soon as you wake up, simply because your body is on its most dehydrated phase, and that water will help it regain its hydration and is the perfect kick start for your body.

Before half an hour and after an hour of every meal to allow the body absorb nutrients, and as women you should aim to drink at least 2.5 liters a day.

Now I know that a lot of people don’t like to drink water, so here are some tips to help you down your daily intake:

-Add non-sugary flavors to your pitcher or bottle. Veggie slices like cucumbers, lemon wedges, ginger, or herbs like basil, mint, lavender, thyme, are the perfect addition to give your water that kick it needs.

-Drink a glass after a bathroom break.

-Add fruits such as strawberries, berries, apples etc.

-Use an app to track your intake.

-Leave cute little notes on your desk, by your bed, in your living room and your car to remind you that you need to drink your next glass.
