Sometimes, ladies just wanna have fun and with summer well underway, it’s such a well-deserved pleasure to do so through a timepiece that redefines the concept of a fun twist and adds a touch of unparalleled joy to your outfit. Every watchmaking house and watch brand has its own special way of interpreting the amusing flair that could turn your look upside down and here are a few of our favorites!
It’s through oversized and bold letters that Chopard and Bvlgari chose to decorate the dial of their watches, leaving a never-before-seen touch of fun in the world of watchmaking. While the first spread a happy love vibe, the second added to its skeleton timepiece the letters of its name in a very distinguished way. Mosaic art also had its share of novelties, making an appearance in watches by Harry Winston and Dior. On another note, multi-row straps were also an element that added a fun touch to some creations, such as de Grisogono’s Allegra watch and Tiffany & Co.’s East West timepiece, which also makes time reading amusing by turning the case 90 degrees. Also speaking of straps, Boucheron and Hublot redefine the classic interchangeable straps by pairing this concept with their iconic watch collections. Last but not least, Jaeger-LeCoultre chose to pack a statement with an artistic colorful dial that doesn’t lack elegance in any possible way, while Hermès took things to the next level and used words from Shakespeare’s “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” in both English and French to decorate the background of its time-teller.
