Valentino Fall/Winter 2019-2020 Ready-to-Wear

“Valentino on Love”; that’s the inspiration created by the House’s Creative Director PierpaoloPiccioli in collaboration with poets for Valentino’s Fall/Winter 2019-2020 Ready-to-Wear collection.

With these three words in mind, one could only imagine the amount of love and dedication put into the creation of this collection. Indeed, Piccioli sent out models wearing graphic representations of two statues entranced in a love rhythm on a bed of roses – think extra-large coats, A-line dresses, lovely sweaters and capes.

The looks were overflowing with solid colors and one in particular was a monochrome combination of a yellow cape and blouse. Some of the looks went as far as featuring the verses of some of the poets, while others had Valentino’s “Red Valentino” tone splattered all over them. There were color-blocking outfits, loose and silky dresses and tailored coats.

It was everything we’ve imagined “Valentino on Love” to be and more.
