Valentino Embraces Sustainabilty with New Packaging

In its step towards a more sustainable world, Valentino introduces its new generation packaging that tells the story of the Maison’s unmistakable heritage and artisanal soul. Therefore, the exquisite white shopping bags with the high contrast red embossed logo and red lining will be produced with 55% recycled paper, 40 of which post-consumer waste and 15 from the recycling of refused production material.

On the same note, the boxes customized with the VLogo Signature will be made in carboard and tissue paper who raw material comes from sustainably managed forests. As for the boutique stationary and greeting cards, they will be produced with 75% bamboo and 25% cotton linters.

This is not all, as the hang tags’ back will be made of 55% recycled paper, fabric packaging of 100% recycled cotton, gift boxes of 100% recycled cardboard and 55% recycled paper, waterproof shopping bag covers of 100% recycled transparent material, down to the white ribbon with the ton-sur-ton logo which will also be 100% recycled. Ready-to-wear and accessories will also be given bigger logos: Valentino for the first and Valentino Garavani for the second.

Well, we knew that this November will be a special one, and Valentino proved us right!
