Unexpected Surprises Fill Cartier’s Yearly Rendez-Vous in Dubai

Every year, Cartier honors its historical ties with the Middle East during an exclusive evening in Dubai, and this year was no exception. The house’s clients flew in from around the region to attend Cartier Mirage, the one-of-a-kind event that took place at Dubai’s La Mer.

A monumental mirror façade greeted Cartier’s VIP clients, press, regional and international celebrities, who were then treated to a series of surprises that didn’t fail to make this evening a worldwide sensation. In fact, the specifically created venue features the largest ever 3D hologram screen that displayed the Maison’s iconic Panther strolling graciously. As for the entertainment, the 300 VIP guests danced to the live performance of award-winning singer Mika, who later on gave a lively concert for an audience of 700. This was not all, as his act was followed by the vibrant tunes of DJ duo Simi and Haze Khadra.

“Dubai is a magical place and one of the key cities worldwide for us. From Jacques Cartier’s 1912 journey and the discovery of local gems all the way to today, it has been an immense source of inspiration, which is why we wanted to honor it with a truly exceptional event,” said Sophie Doireau, Managing Director, Cartier UAE and India.
