The Perfect Bob

I am so tempted to cut my hair and adopt Kim Kardashian’s bob look. I love that it’s short and simple yet tres chic. I also would love to chop off all the color mistakes I have made, along with my dry ends. I haven’t yet had the guts to do it but I want to be prepared to ask for the right type of cut when I do. So here are a few things to ask for before you “make the cut”:

First, you have to decide how short you want to go. I suggest starting a little above shoulder length. You can slowly go shorter up to your chin every time you trim. I have to warn you though; you might think that if you cut your hair shorter, styling it will be much easier or not take as long. But let me just say from experience that you might even take more time to style it. With long hair you can just throw it up in a bun, but with shorter hair it pretty much always needs to be styled.

Ask your stylist for a blunt, smooth and shiny cut. You might have to grow out your bangs before going for this look because most of us have layers all over. Once you cut it, all you have to do is blow dry with a round brush and then maybe go over it with a flat iron to make it even shinier. Curl the ends in to give it that 90s supermodel look.
