The Iconic Gucci Bamboo 1947 Bag Stars in a Gucci and Azyaamode Production

No matter how many looks she changes, the iconic Gucci Bamboo 1947 bag will be the one she chooses to complete them. In an Azyaamode production, the beautiful star Rym Saïdy showcased the House’s signature bag in a variety of mesmerizing prints and colors as she switches between one look and another from two of Gucci’s ready-to-wear collections: Gucci SS’23 and Nojum. The truth is we’re not talking about a regular accessory, but one that has been at the heart of the House’s signature bag collection for a while now. It represents how a creative instinct propelled by profound know-how has led Gucci to where it is today, especially with this unique curved bamboo handle that was first created for the lack of traditional raw materials in Italy in the 1940s.

Today, we continue to witness a game of contrasts that defied the aesthetic rules of the time as the top handle bag comes in varying sizes presented in different combinations that evoke diverse attitudes. And with timeless color palettes as well as seasonal variations, and precious leather iterations, the Gucci Bamboo 1947 bag is enriched by day-to-night styles for all occasions.
